When Will we Stop Advancing?

This past month a member of one of our visiting teams asked me this question.  The answer for me was and is very simple. We will stop when there is not One more Person that has not found a relationship with Jesus, not one more child dying from starvation, not one pore person that has passed from a preventable disease, or not one more child that has not received an education. It’s about the “One!”

Jesus said in Luke 15:4 “Suppose one of you has a hundred sheep and loses one of them.  Does he not leave the ninety-nine in the open country and go after the lost sheep until he fins it?”

Jesus made it very clear! Its about the “One!”

Each month we send a mobile medical team out from the mission clinic to remote areas to meet both the physical and Spiritual needs of different communities.  Recently, the mobile medical team led by a group from North America was able to treat 775 patients in four days. What was even more amazing was that they were able to see 41 people make first time commitments to follow Jesus. We could choose to stay at the Mission of Hope clinic and invite the hurting to come to us, but the Gospel compels us, to take its healing message to the people of Haiti, both in word and in deed.
When will we stop?  When Haiti is Won for Christ. Until then, we must keep seeking to find the “One!”  Thank you for investing in what God is doing in Haiti.  We are honored by your investment and pray that together we will see Haiti Transformed.
